100 days
100 days is enough to change your life.
I made a commitment in January to write music every day for 100 days. My lame goal was to 'write some songs I like'.
Instead, I published several EPs. Next week, I'm releasing my first album.
That commitment was over 100 days ago.
I've grown alongside scriptwriters who have written a small play daily and been accepted to Edinburgh Fringe, poets who have published their first chapbook, visionaries who have started their own business.
The important thing is not to stay still for too long. Those 100 days are over. Now what?
'Look forward', my wakeboarding instructor told me. That's the way to look if you want to go forward. You can't stare at your feet. You can't stare at where you don't want to crash.
The next 100 days, I'm going to keep it as simple as the first 100 days.
I'm going to show up with a creative idea every day.
Let's see what magic happens.
